Fettuccine with Gorgonzola Sauce

A rich creamy paste with a cream cheese and blue cheese sauce.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 250 grams fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 1/4 cups milk light
  • 1/4 cups cream cheese
  • 1/2 cups gorgonzola cheese, or blue cheese
  • to taste black pepper

Preparation

Cook the pasta according to the instructions of its box (normally 5-6 minutes in boiling water).
While cooking, melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the flour and cook for 30 seconds more. Then add the milk by moving the sauce with a balloon whisk. Add the cream cheese and season with salt and pepper. Allow it to cook for 3 more minutes.
Remove the pasta from the water and mix with the white sauce. Add the Gorgonzola cheese and mix just before serving.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with a little blue cheese or parsley.

TIPS

You can use another strong cheese instead of blue cheese.
