Ingredients

8 servings
  • 5 pieces of potato
  • 1 Cup of bacon finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of onion finely chopped
  • 2 cups of ground beef beef
  • 1 Cup of tomato puree natural
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 10 slices of Manchego cheese
  • 1/2 Cup of Manchego cheese grated
  • 1/2 Cup of bacon fried, to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (356F).
    On a board, peel and cut the potatoes into medium thick slices.
    Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the bacon until it browns, add the garlic and onion and cook a few minutes. Add the ground beef and when it changes color, add the tomato puree, season with salt and pepper, cook until the liquid is completely reduced. Reservation.
    In an oven proof dish, place the potato slices, the meat, the cheese and repeat the process until the mold is completed, cover with a last layer of potatoes with grated Manchego cheese and the fried bacon.
    Bake about 30 minutes or until the potatoes are soft. Rest a minute before cutting and then serve.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a slice and accompany with salad.

    TIPS

    Place the potatoes in water so they do not rust while you cut up the others. Drain just before use.
