For the meat sauce, heat the oil over medium heat in a saucepan. Sauté the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent. Add the ground meat and cook until browned, then add the tomato puree, wine, oregano, and thyme. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until the sauce is thick, adding salt and black pepper to taste.
