Ingredients

6 portions
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 lemons
  • 6 tablespoons sea salt

Preparation

Slice the onions.
Put them in a colander with the salt under a stream of water. Go squeezing the salt as long as the water falls on it. This is what softens both the taste and the texture of the onion.
Leave them dripping for a few minutes.
Slice the tomatoes into thin slices.
Serve the tomatoes in a bowl with the onions on top and pour some lemon on top.

TIPS

It tastes good to accompany a roasted chicken or fish. Good low calorie dish.
