Preparation
Start by boiling the nopales in 8 cups of water with the tablespoon of baking soda for 30 minutes to remove their drool. This step can be repeated one more time if you want to leave them without any slobber.
Drain nopales and clean with cold water.
In a large bowl, mix the cactus, tomato, onion, cilantro, lemon juice, olive oil and salt.
Serve the salad with Milpa Real toast.
