This rich purple cabbage salad is made with apple and walnut. It is a very original recipe for Christmas.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 red cabbage, chopped
  • 25 grams butter
  • 1 apple, cut into slices
  • 3 cloves
  • 100 milliliters cider vinegar
  • 25 grams brown sugar
  • 1 cup walnut, toast

Preparation

In a large skillet melt the butter and cook the cabbage, the apple and the cloves until the cabbage begins to soften.
Add the vinegar and mix until the vinegar has evaporated.
Add the sugar and mix. Add the walnut and remove the heat.

PRESENTATION

Serve in individual salad dishes, you can decorate with some nuts or a slice of red apple and green apple.
