In a blender, mix the olive oil, fig jam, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper to taste. Blend for 2-3 minutes and set aside. In a large bowl, mix the lettuce and fennel, pour the vinaigrette over them, and mix well so that all the lettuce is coated.
