The tabouleh is a recipe originally from Arabic cuisine, with this recipe you can prepare a simple salad that is a delight. You can accompany it with pita bread.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 cups wheat
  • 1/2 cups parsley, cool
  • 1/2 cups tomtato
  • 1/4 cups cumin, cool
  • 2 tablespoons peppermint, cool
  • 1/8 cups olive oil
  • 1/8 cups lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Preparation

Place in wheat in a bowl of water to hydrate for at least 20 minutes. Remove excess water.
Finely chop the parsley, the tomato (peeled and seeded), the cumin and the mint.
In a bowl, mix the wheat, the herbs, the tomato, the olive oil, the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Let the salad marinate at least 30 minutes before serving.

PRESENTATION

Serve with a few slices of Arabic bread.
