Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 cups wheat
  • 1/2 cups parsley, fresh
  • 1/2 cups tomtato
  • 1/4 cups cumin, fresh
  • 2 tablespoons peppermint, cool
  • 1/8 cups olive oil
  • 1/8 cups lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Preparation

Place the wheat in a bowl with water to hydrate it for at least 20 minutes. Remove excess water.
Finely chop the parsley, tomato (peeled and seeded), cumin and mint.
In a bowl, mix the wheat, herbs, tomato, olive oil, lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Let the salad marinate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

PRESENTATION

Serve with a few slices of Arabic bread.
