Preparation
Clean the hearts of fresh artichokes with lots of water and lemon. Peel the carrot and cut it into slices. Fill a pot up to a third of height. Add the oil.
Dissolve the flour in a little water, add sugar, salt and water. Add artichokes and carrot slices.
Let boil for 1/2 hour, decreasing the light at the end.
Let cool to serve them at the time.
