Spinach, Melon and Granola Salad

Indulge your family with this rich salad of spinach, melon and granola. It is perfect to accompany any strong dish and ideal for special meals. It has a delicious combination of ham with melon and a basil vinaigrette. The granola gives it a rich crunchy texture. Not to be missed!

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups Kellogg’S® coconut, raisins and honey granola
  • 1 cup melon
  • 1 1/2 cups spinach, washed and disinfected
  • 1/2 cups yellow bell pepper
  • 1/4 cups cured ham
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • 1/2 cups basil, washed and disinfected
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons apple vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Cut the yellow pepper into cubes and lightly sift it in a pan with a little vegetable oil.
Cut the melon in half and with a Parisian spoon remove balls of melon.
In a dish, combine melon, roasted pepper, spinach, Serrano ham and Kellogg's® Coco Granola, raisins and honey.
For the dressing; Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until you have a homogeneous mixture.
Serve the salad with the dressing.

PRESENTATION

Place the ingredients in layers so that all the colors of the salad shine.

TIPS

You can substitute the ham for bacon, just brown it in the microwave until it is crispy.
