The traditional mayonnaise recipe. Go ahead to prepare it is easier to prepare than you think and you will have a rich homemade mayonnaise.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar, or lemon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 3/4 cups oil

Preparation

Put the eggs in the liquidator or food processor and beat until they turn white.
Add the vinegar, salt, mustard and beat a few seconds more.
Add half the oil very slowly, until it thickens. The blender is stopped and the mixture is stirred with a spoon.
The blender is turned on again and the rest of the oil is added.
They should leave about 2 1/2 cups of mayonnaise.

PRESENTATION

Mayonnaise has a light yellow color.

TIPS

To give different flavors to mayonnaise you can add garlic, parsley or other seasoning with salt. It can be stored up to a week in the refrigerator.

Excelente receta, me saco de un apuro en casa de mi novia, le dimos nuestro toque con chipotle, vinagre de manzana limón y sal.. muchas gracias

Es un encanto de receta. No he vuelto a comprar mayonesa en el super. Lo único que agregaría es que la coloco en un frasco esterilizado y al refri. Mil gracias Marilyn.
