Sauté the slices of bacon, properly chopped, in their fat, add the onion also chopped for two minutes and set aside in a bowl. In a large skillet, add the butter, once melted add the cream cheese and cream, stirring continuously to avoid lumps, add the chopped garlic, add the garlic powder while stirring, and finally the salt and pepper. Let it thicken slightly and incorporate the Parmesan cheese, then set aside.
