  • 1 cup Oaxaca cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cups bacon, cut into small cubes and fried
  • 2 tablespoons red onion
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 bunches squash blossom, clean
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Bimbo® Bread Crumbs Mexican Style
  • enough cooking spray oil
  • 1 avocado, for the dressing
  • 1/4 cups fresh coriander, for the dressing
  • 1 habanero pepper, Roasted for dressing
  • 1/4 cups sour cream, for the dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, for the dressing


For the filling, in a bowl mix the Oaxaca cheese with the cream cheese, the bacon, the purple onion, season with pepper salt and set aside. Place the stuffing in a plastic bag and cut a corner.
On a cutting board, stuff the pumpkin flowers with the previous preparation. Close them and set aside.
Bread the flowers by immersing them in eggs and passing them through the Bimbo® Mexican Style Breading, repeating the process until completing the breading of all the flowers.
Heat a pan over medium heat with the oil and cook the pumpkin flowers until crispy and golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
Blend all the ingredients for the dressing until you get a smooth preparation, season to your liking with salt and pepper and set aside.
Serve hot pumpkin flowers with the dressing. Enjoy.
