Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 Castilla pumpkin
  • 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees centigrade.
In a bowl, mix the pumpkin with the butter, sugar, salt and pepper.
Place the squash on a previously greased baking sheet.
Bake the squash for 30 to 45 minutes or until caramelized. Remove from oven.

PRESENTATION

Serve on a platter or as a side for steak, chicken, or turkey.

TIPS

You can also add a little piloncillo or chile for a change.
