Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 can Pinto beans
  • 1 can tomtato, chopped
  • 2 red peppers, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, medium bite
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons pequin pepper
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 6 ounces cheddar cheese, grated

Preparation

In a medium saucepan, heat the oil and cook the ground meat well.
When the meat is well cooked, add the peppers, onion, carrots, tomatoes, jalapeño and cumin. Cook approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
Add the beans (with everything and liquid), the chili powder and a spoonful of salt. Add a cup of water if necessary and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Serve in a bowl, putting the striped cheese on top as a decoration. It can be accompanied with tortilla chips (Nachos Style)

PRESENTATION

It can be decorated with white striped cheese, and a sprig of cilantro or a slice of avocado.

TIPS

You can use beans from the pot, cooked at home and fresh tomatoes (2 or 3 medium size).
