A classic of French gastronomy and a very good choice as a garnish for any cut of meat, are the creamy dauphinoise potatoes. Delicious potato slices with nutmeg, cream, cheese and a touch of white wine.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Great Value®
  • 1/4 cups white wine
  • 1/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoons Great Value® salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons White pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1/2 kilos potato, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 90 grams butter, in cubes
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Preparation

Preheat oven to 160 ° C.
In a pot over medium heat, heat the milk with the wine and the cream to beat. Season with salt, white pepper and nutmeg.
Add the potatoes and cook until it boils. Remove from heat and reserve.
Grease a baking dish with a little of the butter and add the chopped garlic . Pour the potatoes in the mold, place on top of butter cubes and sprinkle the cheese.
Bake covered for 30 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
Raise the temperature of the oven to 220 ° C, discover the mold and gratin 5 minutes. Serves hot

Uhmm 4 estrellas ya que no dice en ninguna parte que hay que mantener la leche del paso 1 y 2 y meterlas papas al horno con todo y esa leche
