Ingredients

20 portions
  • 1 3/4 cups Fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 on liquid fruit pectin

Preparation

Boil the water with the mint for 30 minutes. Allow it to cool and strain.
Return the water in a pot to the fire and add the sugar, the vinegar and the lemon juice. Heat until it starts to boil.
Remove from heat and add pectin. Mix well. Store in sterilized glass containers.

PRESENTATION

Serve this jelly with crackers with cheese, chops, lamb and turkey.

TIPS

Pectin is used to make jellies, you can find it in the supermarket. Be sure to use liquid pectin for this recipe.
