Parmesan Rice

This recipe of rice goes well with a meat or chicken. Parmesan cheese gives a very rich and original touch to rice.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 cup long grain rice, Uncooked
  • 1 cup chicken soup
  • 3/4 cups Water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Preparation

In a large pot, boil the chicken broth and water.
Add the rice and continue cooking until it boils.
Cover the pot, reduce to low heat and cook until the rice is cooked and all the water has been absorbed.
Add the Parmesan cheese and pepper and mix a little with a fork (without stirring the rice).
Let the cheese melt for at least 5 minutes before serving.

PRESENTATION

Put the rice on a platter and decorate with slices of Parmesan cheese.
