Alfredo potatoes

The flavor of these potatoes in alfredo sauce is guaranteed, the combination of bacon with the creaminess of the white sauce is exceptional, they are ideal as a garnish for any dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of White potato peeled and in medium cubes
  • 1/4 of Cup of bacon chopped
  • 4 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 1 tablespoon of onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoonful of Garlic chopped
  • 4 spoonfuls of flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 Cup of Parmesan grated
  • 3/4 of Cup of mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of Pepper to decorate
  • to taste of parsley chopped, to decorate

    Preparation

    Cook the potatoes in a pot with boiling water and salt until they are soft. Drain and reserve.
    In a pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until golden brown. Add the previously cooked potatoes and cook a couple of minutes. Reservation.
    For the Alfredo sauce, add the butter in a pot and cook the onion with the garlic, add the flour and stir until it forms a golden pasty.
    Add the milk and cook until it thickens slightly. Add the cheeses, let them melt and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
    Mix the potatoes with the hot sauce, serve immediately and decorate with parsley.

    PRESENTATION

    Garnish with chopped parsley.

    TIPS

    Do not overcook the potatoes to prevent them from breaking and beating with the sauce.
