A Greek touch in the rice with tomatoes, peas and grapes. This is a different way of cooking rice, adding ingredients such as raisins that give it a bit of sweet flavor and contrast with the peas, the tomato and all the other ingredients with which this rice is cooked. Preparation
Melt the butter in a heavy bottom pan.
Add the chopped onion and cook without browning, then add crushed garlic, lettuce, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Let cook a few minutes and add the rice stirring everything very well.
Finally add the broth, salt and pepper to taste, and let cook until it begins to bubble (10 minutes).
Cover the pot and put in the oven at 200 C for 30 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Remove the rice, separate it with a fork and add the butter, peas, paprika and raisins.
