Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 on Knorr® Mi Arroz® White Rice Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups rice, long grain raw
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1/8 teaspoons piquín chili, powdered
  • black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
  • 6 white fish steaks
  • spray oils
  • 4 tablespoons rice vinegar, for the salad
  • 1/4 teaspoons sugar, for the salad
  • 4 teaspoons sesame oil, for the salad
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, for the salad
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed, for the salad
  • 4 cups mixed vegetables, grated (cucumber, carrot and jicama), for the salad

Preparation

Follow the directions on the package. Wash the rice until the water is clean, drain well. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat and fry, gently stirring the rice, preventing it from splitting. This should take on a slightly golden color (very light) and the grains will separate from each other. Remove excess oil if necessary.
Empty the water and the contents of the Knorr® MiArroz® Blanco envelope. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to maximum, cover and cook for 20 minutes or until liquid is completely absorbed. Cool completely.
Mix the mayonnaise, juice, chili pepper and pepper, marinate the fillets in the refrigerator for two hours. In a frying pan, drizzle the oil and cook the fillets.
Mix all the ingredients of the salad and dress it.
Serve 2/3 cup of rice with the fillet and accompany with the seasoned vegetables.
