This recipe is a German dish, also known as "sour cabbage" is used to accompany different pork dishes, such as sausages, so accompany the sauerkraut.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, squeezed
  • 1 red cabbage, girl thin slices
  • 1 potato, peeled and grated with the mandolin
  • 1 apple, peeled and grated with the mandolin
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/4 cups white vinegar

Preparation

Melt the butter in a pan and cook the onion. After a couple of minutes, add the garlic, cook one minute. Add the cabbage and stir well. Put salt and pepper.
Add the potato to the pan and leave it for a few minutes. Then add the apple. Cook for 5 minutes.
Put the water and vinegar in the pan and cook for 30 minutes over low heat.
Serve hot.
