Wash the sweet potatoes well and cook them in cold water with a pinch of sugar and a cinnamon stick. Once they are cooked, remove them from the heat, peel them, and in a food processor prepare a mash. Place the mash in a saucepan with the sugar. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until it starts to thicken. Add the butter, you can add more if you prefer. Finally, add the nutmeg. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
