Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and tomato and cook for 5 minutes or until slightly golden. Add the guajillo pepper, chicken broth, salt, and pepper and cook for 10 minutes. Blend the onion, garlic, tomato, guajillo, and broth. Set aside.
