Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 leaves bay (laurel)
  • 2 onions, slices
  • 2 potatoes, peeled
  • 5 cups carrot, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg

Preparation

Cut the potatoes and carrots into slices. Boil 10 cups of water, add the bay leaves and all the vegetables. Cook covered for 45 minutes.
After this time remove the bay leaves and liquefy the soup and pass it through a sieve. Return to the fire and add sugar and cream over soft flame, season with salt and pepper. Serve in individual cups and sprinkle with nutmeg each.

PRESENTATION

It can also be garnished with a few parsley leaves.
