Cream Cheese with Grapes

This recipe for cream cheese with grapes will be the ideal entry to conquer the palate of your guests on any special occasion. It is very easy to make and the combination of gouda cheese with grapes is a real delight.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 tablespoons butter, in cubes
  • 2 garlic
  • 1/2 cups onion, in medium squares
  • 1/2 cups leek, in slices
  • 1/2 cups celery, in slices
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 liter chicken soup
  • 1/2 cups gouda cheese, grated
  • 1/2| cups cream cheese, in small cubes
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • enough grape, in half, to decorate

Preparation

In a pot heat the butter and add the onion, garlic, leek, celery and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat until they change color, add the flour, let it brown a little and add the chicken broth. Cook for 5 minutes and reserve.
Blend the previous mixture for 5 minutes and return to the heat. Add the gouda cheese and cream cheese. Cook for 10 minutes over low heat until the cheese is completely integrated, season with salt and pepper. Reservation.
Serve in a bowl and decorate with the grapes cut in half and accompany with a rich white wine.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a soup bowl and decorate with grapes, and olive oil.

TIPS

This cream can be made with blue cheese and instead of 1 liter of chicken broth use 3 cups of chicken broth and a cup of white wine.
