We present the recipe for Crema de Espinacas, a preparation that is traditional in Mexican cuisine. It is an easy recipe, simple and with all the homemade flavor, just as they cooked it in your house. It is the perfect preparation for cold or rainy days.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 cubes Knorr® Switzerland Chicken Broth
  • 1 bunch spinach, washed, disinfected and leafless
  • 4 cups skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon Maizena® Regular Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cups Water
  • 1/4 bunches fresh parsley, finely chopped

Preparation

Roast the spinach in a pan.
Blend spinach, milk and cubes from Knorr® Switzerland Chicken broth.
Pour into a saucepan the blender mixture and heat.
Dissolve Maizena® Regular Cornstarch in water.
Add the mixture to the pot.
Boil until thickening.
Finely chop the parsley.
Serve and decorate with parsley.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with bread.

TIPS

Cover the spinach with water and let it rest for 30 minutes, to completely remove the sand, which sometimes brings this vegetable.
