The mushroom cream recipe you'll love, this preparation has the homemade flavor of a traditional Mexican recipe, so easy to cook that you'll never buy the canned cream of mushrooms again.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 yellow onions, slice
  • 400 grams white mushroom, sliced
  • 30 milliliters brandy
  • 500 milliliters milk
  • 250 milliliters whipping cream
  • 2 pinches ground pepper
  • 20 grams salt
  • 1 baguette

Preparation

Heat the butter and fry the garlic with the onion until transparent, add the mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes.
Add brandy and heat for 3 minutes or until reduced, remove from heat and blend with milk, whipping cream, salt and pepper.
Return to heat and continue cooking for 10 minutes or until lightly thickened.
Cut the baguette into thin slices, bake and accompany with the cream.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a deep dish and accompany with croutons.

TIPS

You can add fine herbs to croutons.
