Ingredients: 2 tablespoons curry; 2 tablespoons olive oil; 4 carrots, peeled and chopped; 1 onion, finely chopped; 1 green apple, finely chopped; 1 clove garlic; 2 tablespoons curry powder; 1 tablespoon cumin powder; 400 grams lentils, previously rinsed; 5 cups water; 3 1/2 cups chicken broth; 1/4 cups fresh cilantro, chopped; 1/2 tablespoons salt; plain yogurt, for garnish

In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the carrots, onion, and apple. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the garlic, curry, and cumin and cook for 1 minute.
