Dry Noodle Cake

An inexpensive and delicious recipe, this dry noodle cake is very easy to make. Perfect for any day of the week and for the whole family, it has chipotle sauce with a touch of brown sugar to give it a special touch. In addition, it is topped with a layer of chorizo and Manchego cheese au gratin, which make it even tastier.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 5 tomatoes cut into quarters and tamed, for the sauce
  • 1/4 of piece of onion roasted, for the sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic roasted, for the sauce
  • 2 spoonfuls of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce for the sauce
  • 1 Cup of chicken soup for the sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon of piloncillo grated, for the sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups of noodle No. 2, for pasta
  • enough of oil for pasta
  • to taste of Salt
  • to taste of black pepper
  • 1 Cup of sausage fried for cake
  • 6 slices of Manchego cheese for the cake
  • 2 spoonfuls of coriander finely chopped
  • to taste of red onion pickled, to accompany
  • enough of coriander to decorate

    Preparation

    For the sauce: blend the tomato, onion, garlic, chipotle pepper, chicken broth, brown sugar, salt and pepper until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Reservation.
    Fry the noodle in a pot over medium heat with enough oil for 5 minutes. Add the sauce and stir until incorporated, cover and let cook until the liquid evaporates. Rectify the seasoning and reserve.
    For the cake: add the dried noodle in individual molds to fill to ¾ of its capacity, place a layer of golden sausage and on top a slice of Manchego cheese; Bake until the cheese gratins.
    Unmold and serve with pickled purple onion and fresh cilantro.

    PRESENTATION

    Presents accompanied by pickled onion and coriander leaves.

    TIPS

    So that the color of the noodle is uniform, brown over medium heat, while still moving, in this way, you will avoid burning and you will have a perfect golden color.
