If you need a delicious appetizer this Shrimp Broth Chipotle is the perfect dish. The salty flavor of the shrimp with the tomato broth and the chipotle chili make a delicious combination. This spicy broth also has potato and carrot and is thickened with ground bread.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 50 grams of Dry shrimp
  • 1 teaspoonful of olive oil
  • 1 piece of onion
  • 2 pieces of saladette tomatoes
  • 1 piece of carrot chopped
  • 1 piece of potato chopped
  • 3 pieces of clove
  • 3 pieces of whole black pepper
  • 1 kilo of shrimp raw peeled without head
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 piece of chipotle chile pepper dry
  • 1 tablespoon of ground bread
  • 2 liters of Water

    Preparation

    Boil 2 lts. Water, when it is boiling put the olive oil, onion and shrimp dry. Let boil 7 minutes. Strain the broth and peel the shrimp.
    Roast the tomato, garlic and 1/2 onion. Grind in blender with 1 dry chipotle pepper. Strain and add it in the broth.
    Place the meat of the dried shrimp, the chopped potato, chopped carrot, pepper, cloves and bread crumbs in the broth. Boil for 10 minutes over low heat.
    Remove the peppers, the clove from the broth, add the raw shrimp and when it is again boiled, remove it from the heat.
