Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 leeks
  • 3 potatoes, big
  • 4 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • carrots, and frozen peas (optional)

Preparation

From the pores we only need the white and light green part, it is split lengthwise in half and finely sliced, We need about 4 1/2 cups.
Melt butter in a saucepan and cook the pores for about 10 minutes over low heat until they are soft.
Peel the potatoes and dice them, add them to the pores, cover the saucepan and cook until the potato is soft, taking care that it does not brown, about 10 minutes.
Add the chicken broth, bring to a boil and lower the heat until the vegetables are cooked. Season with salt and pepper. When serving sprinkle chives.
