One of the secrets of cooking is knowing the doneness of the meat when we cook it, as we can leave it raw or overcooked. I share my secret so you know how to cook meat to its ideal point and delight your family or guests.

Step by Step

For this tip you need:
• Your favorite cut of meat
• Olive oil
• Salt
• Pepper

For cuts, the most convenient way is to sear the meat without salting it, in a large plate or pan, with oil, butter, or both. You should sear it for 2 to 4 minutes on each "side."

Once seared, you should salt, season, and place it in a hot oven. This way, the cooking will be more appropriate, as it will retain the juices of the meat and promote better heat distribution.

Just as a rough estimate, to cook red meats in the oven, calculate 20 to 25 minutes for every ½ kilo of meat. This means that for a 2-kilo cut, you will have a cooking time of approximately 60 to 80 minutes.
