Eliminate bad odors from sponges. With normal use, bath and kitchen sponges absorb bad odors. Eliminate them by soaking them in a mixture of 1 liter of water and 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Let the solution penetrate the sponge and then rinse. Soak again in the solution and let it sit for about half an hour or more.

For washing dishes. Mix water and dishwashing powder as you normally do, add 2 or 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and wash your dishes with this mixture. If there are stuck residues in pots, let them soak with this solution, and half an hour later scrub using a fiber with dry baking soda.
2
Remove coffee and tea stains. If the coffee maker container has stains or has absorbed the smell or taste of coffee, easily eliminate it with a solution of ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 liter of hot water. If necessary, let the solution work overnight and clean the next day with a soft sponge.
3
Clean the shower curtain. Sprinkle baking soda on a damp sponge or soft brush and rub it on the surface of the curtain. Hang it away from the sun to dry.
4
Deodorize sports equipment. Sprinkle some baking soda in sports bags, inside shoes, and anywhere that may retain moisture and bad odors. Clean more thoroughly with a solution of water and baking soda.
5
Clean drains. To clean the pipes of the bathtub and sink, pour ½ cup of baking soda down the drain while letting a trickle of warm water run from the tap. This will eliminate odors escaping from it and help remove impurities or clogged pipes.
