To make gift bows you need:

Tie the ribbon around the gift.

Cut the ends diagonally so they are the same length.

Cut a piece of ribbon and fold it several times over itself.

Tie the ribbon in the center with another piece of ribbon, tighten it.

Cut the ends of this second ribbon and the ends of the bow if it is too long.

You can repeat this process with ribbons of different thickness or color.
