The chai latte is a drink native to South India, which is prepared with a delicious combination of spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and black tea. This version is made with milk and with a touch of Reddi Wip® whipped cream.
Combine the cardamom, black pepper, cloves, anise, ginger, and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
Heat the milk along with the spices you mixed and the brown sugar. Once hot, add the black tea bags, bring to a boil, remove and leave for 3 minutes. Strain with the help of a fine mesh strainer.
Foam the milk lightly with the help of a French press. This is done by pouring the milk into the press, then the plunger with the lid is attached, and then the plunger is raised and lowered vigorously to create the froth. This happens because air enters it as it passes through the strainer that comes with the plunger.
Serve the chai latte and finish with Reddi Wip® whipped cream, garnish with ground cinnamon.
