We know that at home, family is the most important, which is why at #KiwiTeCuida we have a section dedicated to
healthy recipes for your whole family, with which you can organize your weekly menus and feel good about what you prepare, as they are endorsed by a professional nutritionist and the USDA.
To kick off the week's challenge dedicated to cooking healthy for your family, we will have a very special live class this Monday, June 14, at 6 PM, with chef
Mau Eggleton, who will teach you how to prepare chayote pancakes in chipotle sauce that are perfect for nourishing everyone at home. Additionally, in this class, we will have the participation of
Shadia Asencio, editorial director of Kiwilimón, and
Gina Rangel, chef and health coach, so you can ask them anything you want to know about cooking healthy for your family.
Some recommendations from nutritionists include buying fresh ingredients for cooking instead of processed foods; consuming seasonal fruits and vegetables; introducing a new ingredient to the family diet weekly; and, above all, cooking with the whole family, to make them aware of the ingredients, the processes, and everything behind each bite they take. Plus, you'll have a lot of fun with them!
