new scientific study, which indicates that the consumption of nuts such as
almonds,
cashews,
hazelnuts,
macadamia nuts,
pecans,
pistachios, and
walnuts is associated with “a decrease in blood pressure, a major risk factor in heart diseases.”
The study involved 131 participants with obesity or overweight over a period of 24 weeks. During this time, the volunteers were subjected to a weight loss regimen.
During the clinical trial, participants consumed a snack daily. Some received pretzels, while others consumed nuts. According to the news portal, at the end of the study, researchers analyzed different samples to determine the impact of the snacks on health.

serotonin levels in the blood: 60.9% at 12 weeks and 82.2% at 24 weeks.”
