The January slump is not easy; it requires willpower and a lot of effort to start losing those extra kilos that came with the holidays. Fortunately, there are ways to make it easier, small details that can undoubtedly help you get back in shape. The best part is that it doesn't have to do with diets or restrictions, but with incentives that will make you want to get out and exercise.

Buy new workout clothes

We all love wearing new clothes, so we recommend taking advantage of the great January sales and heading to the stores for a set or two that you feel comfortable in for exercising. The motivation of wearing your new purchases will surely get you out of bed. via GIPHY

Find a workout partner

Exercising is much easier if you're having fun. Nothing beats a good friend accompanying you to work out so you can motivate each other and both see results. Going alone can be demotivating for many, so if you find a workout buddy, it will be much easier. via GIPHY

Prepare the night before

It may seem like a joke, but often we get discouraged by packing our bag and making a smoothie before exercising. However, if you manage to have your clothes ready and make a delicious smoothie that you're craving the night before, then you won’t have any excuses to get up and go to the gym. via GIPHY

Go at night

It's a myth that you have to wake up early to work out; if your job doesn't allow you to go early, that's okay. Take advantage of the evening hours that all clubs and gyms have so it doesn't interfere with your job. The best part is that you'll arrive home tired and sleep deeply. via GIPHY

Create a playlist every week

One of the best experiences you can have while exercising is when that perfect song plays at just the right moment. Listening to music you enjoy while running or at the gym is a great motivator, so keep your playlist updated to maintain a high energetic rhythm. via GIPHY Here are some Spotify playlists that should be in your library for working out:
