Preheat the oven to 190 °C.

Spread the almonds on a baking sheet and try to distribute them evenly across the surface. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 °C, stirring constantly with a spatula to ensure the almonds toast evenly. Remove from the oven and let cool. Set aside until use. Place the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt it in the microwave in 10-second intervals, stirring constantly to evenly incorporate the chocolate between each time. Mix until the chocolate has a slightly shiny tone and a melted consistency.
