This rich cheese pie has a base of oreo cookies and is decorated with cherries. To all the people I know love the cheese pie, I found this recipe that comes out a bit from the ordinary, enjoy!

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 3 1/2 sticks cream cheese, Philadelphia
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch, cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cream, that is not acidic
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups Oreo cookie, ground
  • 90 grams butter, melted
  • 10 cherries in syrup

Preparation

Mix the oreo cookies and the butter and form a base in a pie pan. Put this biscuit base in a pre-greased, removable mold.
Soften the cream cheese, and add the sugar, beating with a blender at medium speed. Add the eggs one by one, whisking shortly after adding each one. Finally add cornstarch, vanilla and cream. It is not advisable to beat a lot at this point as it can cause cracks to appear on the pay.
Put the cheese mixture on the biscuit base and bake for an hour and a half at 160 centigrade.
Allow to cool, unmold and refrigerate for at least two hours.

PRESENTATION

You can decorate it with the cherries in syrup.

TIPS

It is best to remove it from the refrigerator when it is very firm.
