This cake recipe does not contain milk or eggs. It is ideal for someone who is vegan or with allergies to dairy and / or eggs.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • pam cooking spray
  • 1 cup Water, hot
  • 1/2 cups cocoa, natural powder (not sweet)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cups vegetal oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar

Preparation

Grease a 20 cm rectangular pan with PAM for cooking and sprinkle with cocoa.
Mix the hot water with the cocoa powder in a small bowl until well mixed.
Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl and form a hole in the center. Add the cocoa mixture in the center along with the oil and vanilla. Stir with a balloon whisk until well mixed and smooth. Add the vinegar and stir well. Pour into the prepared mold.
Bake until a toothpick in the center comes out clean, about 30-35 minutes.
Run a knife around the mold and unmold. Let cool on a rack.

PRESENTATION

It is recommended to serve with a thick chocolate sauce on top. It is very tasty with vanilla ice cream.

TIPS

I recommend using the best type of cocoa you can, as this will taste most of the cake!

Hice esta receta y la torta es una delicia!!! Sustituiré una parte de aceite por agua a ver que tal!!! Super recomendada

Resultó excelente! Hice el doble de la receta pero sustituí la mitad del aceite con agua porque he probado algunas tortas que saben mucho a aceite, y quedó super esponjosa, excelente con helado de vainilla... Recomendada

Podré sustituir la harina normal de trigo por la harina de arroz?? Ayuda aaa! Y en ves de agua pondré ponerle el jugo de naranja
