This delicious black and white chocolate mousse is served very cold and decorated with whipped cream. It is an ideal dessert to have it ready from a day before.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 stick bittersweet chocolate, 150 grams
  • 6 egg whites
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups frangelico liqueur
  • 1 1/4 cups whipping cream, (for the dark mousse)
  • 6 egg whites
  • 3/4 cups whipping cream, for the white mousse
  • 1 stick White chocolate, 150 grams
  • 3 tablespoons Frangelico liqueur , for the white mousse
  • 1 cup whipping cream, (for the white mousse)
  • chocolates, grated to decorate
  • whipped creams, to decorate

Preparation

Prepare the dark chocolate mousse first. Put the dark chocolate in a bain-marie until it melts.
Beat the whites and add the sugar little by little until they are white and frothy. Add the liqueur and the melted chocolate.
Beat the cold cream to double its volume and wrap 1/3 of the mixture of the whites. Add the rest of the mixture of whites wrapping.
Put the chocolate mousse in 8 martini glasses or dessert glasses (it should be half full to have room for the other white mousse).
Prepare the white mousse. Put 3/4 cup of cream in the fire and melt the white chocolate. Allow to cool and add the liquor.
Beat the cold cream to double its volume and add the chocolate. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add 1/3 of the cream and wrap. Add the rest, wrap and pour over the white chocolate in each cup.
Put in the freezer until it hardens.
To serve it, remove it from the freezer as 15 minutes before and decorate each mousse with a little whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate.

La receta confunde un poco, en el punto 5 y 6. El 5 dice que la crema se calienta y ahí se derrite el chocolate y en el 6 dice que la crema se bate y se agrega el chocolate, si los 3/4 de crema que dice en los ingredientes ya se calentaron con el chocolate de donde sale la otra crema del punto número 6?
