This is the classic recipe for preparing tiramisu, a dessert of Italian origin with delicious coffee flavor, made with mascarpone cheese, sweet wine, cookies and cocoa. The characteristic of this dessert is that, whatever its version, you should always carry a solid ingredient moistened with coffee and be layered. Ingredients

8 servings
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1/2 Cup of powder sugar for the yolks
  • 2 spoonfuls of wine sweet
  • 1 Orange zest
  • 2 packages of mascarpone cheese (226 gc / u) previously beaten a little, so that it is smooth
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 package of lady finger
  • 1 Cup of espresso coffee cold
  • 2 spoonfuls of wine sweet
  • 1/2 Cup of cocoa to decorate

Preparation

For the cream: beat the yolks with the sugar, 2 tablespoons of sweet wine and the orange zest for 5 minutes, you should obtain a spongy and smooth consistency. Then mix in an enveloping way with the mascarpone cheese and reserve.
Apart, beat the egg whites with the pinch of salt for 5 minutes, until they double their volume (nougat point) and add them in an enveloping way to the mascarpone cheese mixture. Reservation.
Mix the coffee with the wine and reserve.
Soak the soletas in the coffee and arrange them in a mold forming a base, then cover it with the mascarpone cream. Repeat the process until the mold is filled, cover completely with cream and refrigerate.
Garnish with sprinkled cocoa, cut a slice, serve and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

It is decorated with cocoa and can be accompanied with a hot drink, such as coffee.

TIPS

It is advisable to leave the egg and cheese outside the refrigerator a few hours before processing, so that they can work better and the cream has a smooth texture.
