Baked Apples with Oats and Nuts

These baked apples are sweet, warm and delicious sandwiches. Perfect to give you a sweet taste and enjoy in the company of yours.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of Apple
  • 1 teaspoonful of lemon juice
  • 2 spoonfuls of flour
  • 3 spoonfuls of Butter
  • 1/4 of Cup of brown sugar
  • 2/3 of Cup of oats traditional
  • 1/4 of Cup of nut chopped or almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of cinnamon powder
  • 1/3 of Cup of Maple syrup

    Preparation

    Cut the top of each apple, then empty the center of the apple with a knife to peel.
    Spray the top of the apples with the lemon juice to prevent them from rusting. Place the apples on a baking sheet.
    In a large bowl, combine the flour, butter, sugar, oats, nuts and cinnamon. Use a fork to move the mixture until it looks like thick crumbs. Pour the mixture generously in each apple. Spray each apple with maple syrup.
    Place 1/2 cm of water on the bottom of the baking sheet. Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, or until crumbs on top of apples are golden and apples are soft.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
