The fritters are typical of this holiday season and these crunchy and spectacular fritters will fascinate you, they are very practical to make, bathed in guava honey, they will simply melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

12 portions
  • 3/4 cups guava, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 rajas cinnamon
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 tablespoons Splenda sugar Blend®
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Water, cold
  • 1 cup oil

Preparation

Combine the guava, water, cinnamon, anise and Splenda Azúcar Blend® in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Add the starch to the cold water until it dissolves completely and add to the guava mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens. Remove from the fire and let cool.
With the help of a rolling pin, spread the patty discs so that they are thin and fry in hot oil until golden brown, absorb the fat with absorbent paper.
Serve the fritters with the guava honey.
