Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1250 grams unsalted butter
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 400 grams wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder, optional

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Beat the butter with the sugar in a medium bowl.
Add the salt, the cinnamon if you decided to put it and the egg until it becomes a creamy paste.
Add the wheat flour little by little and mix until there are no lumps.
You should have a kind of "big cookie dough" a bit solid. Put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
After the time, remove your cookie dough and spread it on a flat surface.
Now simply with the help of a knife or a round mold, cut the biscuits and put them on a previously greased baking tray.
If you prefer you can simply knead flour balls, put them on the tray and crush them with the fork until the desired shape.
Put in the oven and cook for 9-10 minutes or until the edges of the butter cookies are lightly browned.
Remove the tray from the oven, remove the cookies and, if you have more dough, repeat the process again until you have all ready.
Let them cool on a plate or a basket with cloth and good luck!
