Rice with milk and vanilla

It is a traditional Mexican dessert to enjoy as a family. You will love this rich rice with milk perfumed with cinnamon and vanilla; since its creamy consistency will conquer your palate.

Ingredients

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1 Cup of rice
  • 1 piece of cinnamon slit
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 can of condensed milk
  • to taste of ground cinnamon to decorate

    Preparation

    In a pot, pour the milk, with the vanilla and cinnamon stick, simmer until the milk boils.
    Once boiled, add condensed milk and rice.
    Move constantly for 30 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
    Once the rice is cooked, remove from heat and let cool.
    Serve and decorate with ground cinnamon (optional); enjoy with family

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in a cup or bowl.

    TIPS

    You can sweeten with sugar, brown sugar or condensed milk. You can decorate with ground cinnamon or lemon zest.
