Ingredients

4 portions
  • 200 grams corn dough
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 cone piloncillo, grated
  • 1 raja cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons salt

Preparation

Mix the dough with the water; immediately pour the liquid and take it to the fire with the piloncillo and the cinnamon, move constantly with a spoonful of wood until it thickens.
This atole can also be prepared with milk; with a cup of water mix the dough and then add it to 3/4 of milk. The same procedures are followed.
