Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 liter milk
  • 1 twig cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoons ground clove
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 piece piloncillo, medium or 4 tablespoons of mashed sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Heat the milk in a well or a clay pot with cinnamon and brown sugar.
At the first boil to lower a flame and to include, pepper, vanilla and ground cloves.
Leave 5 minutes on low heat and turn off the stove.
Serve hot.

PRESENTATION

Sprinkle ground cinnamon to the drink once served in individual cups.

TIPS

You can put a tablespoon of cornstarch previously diluted in a quarter cup of cold milk to have more consistency and volume.
